Water Underfloor Heating
Everything you need for a wet underfloor heating system, from the manifold to the last pipe clip. Start with the floor: castellated panels for screed, low-profile overlay boards for retrofits, or joisted floor systems for timber. Then add UFH pipe, a manifold, a pump pack and Heatmiser controls. These suit heat pump and boiler systems alike. Order by 12pm for next working day delivery across the UK mainland.
Everything for a wet underfloor heating system, in one order
A water (wet) underfloor heating system has four parts:
- the floor system that holds the pipe
- the UFH pipe itself
- a manifold, with a pump and mixing pack, that feeds each loop
- controls to run each zone
We stock all four, so you can buy the whole system in one order and have it on site the next working day.
Start with the floor. Laying a new screed? Castellated panels hold the pipe in place with no clips or rails. If floor height matters in a renovation, low-profile overlay boards add very little height and can often be tiled straight onto. For suspended timber floors, use grooved chipboard or aluminium spreader plates between the joists. Our floor systems guide compares the options.
Then size the pipe and manifold. Most homes use 16mm pipe, at roughly 6–7 metres per square metre at 150mm centres. You need one manifold port per loop. Our guides on how much pipe you need and how many manifold ports explain loop lengths.
Match the pump pack to your heat source. Boilers usually need a blending valve to bring the water down to floor temperature. Heat pumps run cool enough for a non-mixing set.
