Free underfloor heating design and kit quote, in minutes

MaxHeatUFH ProLoop is our free online tool for designing water underfloor heating. Upload a floor plan, confirm your rooms, and ProLoop lays out every heating loop, sizes the manifold and builds a fully priced kit list. Every coil of pipe, every manifold port and every thermostat is ready to order, usually in about three minutes.

It's built on the same design rules we use for our own loop designs. You get a layout an installer can actually fit, not just a rough square-metre estimate.

How it works

  1. Upload your floor plan. An architect's drawing, an estate agent's floor plan or a clear sketch with measurements all work.
  2. Confirm your rooms. Check the room shapes, mark fixed items such as kitchen units, baths and showers, and choose which rooms to heat.
  3. Choose your system.
    • Heat source: boiler or heat pump.
    • Floor type: screed, castellated panel, overlay board, chipboard or spreader plate.
    • Pipe size and spacing.
    • Thermostats: wired or wireless.
  4. Get your Quick Design and priced kit. ProLoop draws every loop and routes the tails back to the manifold. It checks the design against our rules, then lists exactly what you need, priced and ready to order.

Designed properly, not just estimated

Every ProLoop design is checked against hard rules before you see it:

  • no cold spots or gaps between pipe runs
  • no pipe under kitchen units, baths, showers or other fixed items
  • no crossing pipes
  • tails leave each room through the doorway
  • every loop within its maximum length, so the system balances and heats evenly

Pipe is worked out loop by loop and rounded up to whole coils, so you're not left short on site or paying for coils you don't need.

Supply only, or supply and install

  • Supply only: order the kit straight from your design for next working day delivery.
  • Supply and install: we arrange installation through our network of vetted, approved installers, with MaxHeatUFH technical support on every job.
  • Already have an installer? Send them your ProLoop design and kit list.

Installation questions

Which system is right for my floor?

New builds and concrete floors usually suit pipe in screed. Renovations where floor height matters suit low-profile overlay boards or castellated panels with levelling compound. Upper floors with timber joists suit grooved chipboard from above or spreader plates from below. Not sure? Email us and we'll help.

Do you install?

We work with vetted, approved installers across the UK and support them on every job. You can buy supply only, or get an installation quote and request a firm price.

What's included in an installation price?

Installation, pressure testing, flushing and filling, air removal and venting, balancing flow rates and connecting stats. Connection to the boiler or heat pump, groundworks and electrical connections are quoted separately.
