Heatmiser wiring centres for underfloor heating
The wiring centre is where every part of the control system meets. Each room thermostat, the thermal actuator on each manifold port, the circulating pump and the boiler or heat pump all connect to one board. When a room calls for heat, the wiring centre opens that zone's actuators, starts the pump and fires the heat source. When every room is satisfied, it shuts the system down.
Which wiring centre?
- UH4: 4 zones, 230V. Suits smaller systems.
- UH8: 8 zones, 230V, for wired thermostats.
- UH8-RF: 8 zones with wireless thermostats such as the Slimline-RF.
- UH8-N: 8 zones for neoStat 12V thermostats on a low-voltage network.
Match the wiring centre to the type of thermostat you're using. Count your zones, not your loops: one thermostat can control several loops in a large room.
Single zones. RF-Switch receivers switch a single zone or an electric heating circuit wirelessly, without a full wiring centre.
