MLCP Press Fit Female Tee
Product details
An MLCP press fit female tee has press ends on the run and a 1/2" female BSP branch. Use it to take a threaded tapping off a multilayer pipe run (MLCP or PEX-AL-PEX), such as a drain cock, air vent, gauge, sensor pocket or tap connector.
Why installers use it
- Threaded branch: a 1/2" female BSP tapping straight off the run.
- Three run sizes: 20mm, 25mm and 32mm.
- Specification: brass body, stainless steel press sleeve with an inspection window and insulating ring, and factory-fitted EPDM O-rings.
- Rated for heating and water: maximum working pressure 10 bar and maximum continuous temperature 80°C (95°C peak). Suitable for heating, underfloor heating and hot and cold water.

How to fit it
Cut the pipe square. Calibrate and bevel the bore with a Pipe Reaming Tool or Pipe Chamfering Tool. Push the pipe fully home until it shows in the inspection window, then press with the U-profile jaw that matches the pipe size. Seal the BSP thread with PTFE tape or a thread sealing cord.
