FAQs

Quick answers on ordering, delivery, trade accounts and installation.

Ordering and delivery

What's the cut-off for next day delivery?

Orders placed by 12pm (midday), Monday to Friday, are dispatched for next working day delivery to the UK mainland. You can choose a later delivery date in the basket.

How much is delivery?

One charge per order, worked out from its weight, from £6.50 + VAT. See delivery information for the full price list.

Do boards and panels come on a pallet?

Larger quantities of insulation boards, overlay and castellated panels, chipboard and tile backer boards go on a pallet, delivered to the kerbside by tail-lift. Please make sure there is safe access and someone to receive it.

Why can I only buy some fittings by the bag or box?

Our copper M-press fittings come from the manufacturer in sealed bags and boxes that can't be split. Choose Bag or Box on the product page, then how many you need. Each option shows exactly how many pieces are inside.

Why is there a minimum order on adhesives and levellers?

Some adhesives, levelling compounds and castellated egg crate panels are supplied in minimum quantities of 10. The product page won't let you add fewer than the minimum.

Can I return something?

Yes. Unused items in their original, unopened packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. See returns for how.

Trade accounts

How do I get trade pricing?

Apply on our trade account page. Once we approve you, log in with the same email and your trade prices appear across the whole site automatically.

Are trade prices shown with or without VAT?

Trade prices are shown ex VAT. VAT is added at checkout and shown on your invoice. Retail prices are shown inc VAT.

How do I log in?

Click the account icon and enter your email. We'll send you a one-time code, so there's no password to remember.

Systems and installation

Which system is right for my floor?

New builds and concrete floors usually suit pipe in screed. Renovations where floor height matters suit low-profile overlay boards or castellated panels with levelling compound. Upper floors with timber joists suit grooved chipboard from above or spreader plates from below. Not sure? Ask us and we'll help.

Can MaxHeatUFH ProLoop design and price my floor?

Yes. Upload a floor plan to MaxHeatUFH ProLoop and you get a Quick Design and a fully priced kit in about 3 minutes.

Do you install?

We work with vetted, approved installers across the UK and support them on every job. You can buy supply only, or get an installation quote.

What's included in an installation price?

Installation, pressure testing, flushing and filling, air removal and venting, balancing flow rates and connecting thermostats. Connection to the boiler or heat pump, groundworks and electrical connections are quoted separately.
