MLCP Press Fit Swivel Female Elbow

An MLCP press fit swivel female elbow is a 90 degree press elbow with a loose female BSP swivel nut. You can tighten it onto a male thread without turning the multilayer pipe (MLCP or PEX-AL-PEX). It's ideal for manifold, pump and valve connections that need to come apart later.

Why installers use it

• Swivel nut: tighten the nut, not the pipe, so loops stay where you laid them.
• Comes apart: undo it later to service a pump, valve or manifold.
• Specification: brass body, stainless steel press sleeve with an inspection window and insulating ring, and factory-fitted EPDM O-rings.
• Rated for heating and water: maximum working pressure 10 bar and maximum continuous temperature 80°C (95°C peak). Suitable for heating, underfloor heating and hot and cold water.

Sold in full bags or boxes only, in the supplier's pack quantities. Choose a bag or a box, then how many packs you need. Packs are not split.

How to fit it

Cut the pipe square. Calibrate and bevel the bore with a Pipe Reaming Tool or Pipe Chamfering Tool. Push the pipe fully home until it shows in the inspection window, then press with the U-profile jaw that matches the pipe size. Seal the BSP thread with PTFE tape or a thread sealing cord.
