Pumps and valves to drive your underfloor heating. Choose a blending valve pack for a whole manifold, a single room mixing pack for one zone, or a non-mixing set for heat pumps. Pump and mixing packs for underfloor heating
Underfloor heating runs at a much lower water temperature than radiators, usually 35–50°C instead of 60–75°C. The pump pack controls the temperature and the circulation for the floor.
Which pack do you need?
- Blending valve pump pack: for a whole manifold on a boiler system. It mixes hot flow water with cooler return water to hold a safe, steady floor temperature, adjustable from 20–55°C.
- Single room mixing pack: for one zone, such as an extension or conservatory, taken off an existing radiator circuit.
- Non-mixing pump set: for heat pumps and other low-temperature sources, where the water is already at floor temperature and only needs circulating.
Choose your pump. Most packs come with a Grundfos, Wilo or Bastion A-rated circulator, or without a pump if you're supplying your own. Pre-assembled packs are built and tested before dispatch, so they're ready to bolt onto the manifold.
Actuators and zone valves.
- A 2-wire thermal actuator sits on each manifold port and opens when that room's thermostat calls for heat.
- 2-port and 3-port motorised valves split heating and hot water on boiler systems.
