Underfloor Heating in Cheshire

MaxHeatUFH is a Cheshire company, and Cheshire is where we've supplied the most projects. They include a farm barn conversion with an air source heat pump, a four-home new build development in Cheshire East, two-floor systems near Warrington and Northwich, and a full loop design for a three-storey house in Gawsworth, near Macclesfield.

Cheshire homes we work on

  • Barn and farm conversions across rural Cheshire, often off the gas grid and paired with heat pumps.
  • Period homes in Macclesfield, Knutsford, Nantwich and Chester, where floor heights are tight and overlay boards suit upper floors.
  • New builds and developments across Cheshire East and Cheshire West, where pipe clipped to insulation in screed is the go-to spec.
  • Whole-house replacements, swapping radiators for underfloor heating floor by floor.

Mixing systems by floor

Many Cheshire projects use a screed on the ground floor and a low-profile overlay upstairs, on the same pipe and manifold design. That keeps the ground floor's thermal mass while avoiding a heavy screed on timber floors.

Supply only, or supply and install

  • Supply only: Order by 12 noon for next working day delivery to most addresses in Cheshire. Delivery cost is shown at checkout.
  • Supply and install: we arrange installation through our approved installers, with MaxHeatUFH technical support on every job. As a guide, labour is £20/m² + VAT for clip rail and pipe clipped to insulation in screed, and £25/m² + VAT for other systems, including electric. Send an installation enquiry with your floor plans and we'll confirm the price.
  • Installers and builders: apply for a trade account for trade pricing on every order.

Grants

If you're fitting an air source heat pump, the government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme can help with the cost in England and Wales. Check the current grant amount and rules on GOV.UK before you budget.
