We're based just south of Manchester in Cheshire, and we're currently supplying the underfloor heating for a residential development in Manchester, fitted by one of our approved installers. From Victorian terraces in Chorlton and Levenshulme to new apartments in the city centre and family homes across Stockport, Trafford and Bury, we supply systems across Greater Manchester.
Manchester terraces
Red-brick terraces usually have suspended timber ground floors. Joisted floor systems fit between or over the joists without the weight of a screed, and grooved chipboard gives a solid deck ready for the floor finish. See underfloor heating in joisted floors.
Apartments and developments
Where floor-to-ceiling heights are fixed, 12mm pipe in a low-profile panel keeps the heated layer thin. Developers get a loop design and kit list per plot, with phased deliveries. See UFH pipe types compared.
Extensions and loft conversions
Kitchen extensions suit screed systems. Loft conversions suit 20mm overlay boards, which save head height.
Supply only, or supply and install
- Supply only: Order by 12 noon for next working day delivery to most addresses in Greater Manchester. Delivery cost is shown at checkout.
- Supply and install: we arrange installation through our approved installers, with MaxHeatUFH technical support on every job. As a guide, labour is £20/m² + VAT for clip rail and pipe clipped to insulation in screed, and £25/m² + VAT for other systems, including electric. Send an installation enquiry with your floor plans and we'll confirm the price.
- Installers and builders: apply for a trade account for trade pricing on every order.
Grants
If you're fitting an air source heat pump, the government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme can help with the cost in England and Wales. Check the current grant amount and rules on GOV.UK before you budget.
Get a design and price in minutes
Upload your floor plan to MaxHeatUFH ProLoop. It lays out every loop, sizes the manifold and prices the full kit, usually in about three minutes. It's free, and you don't need an account to start.
