The Heatmiser RF-Switch 16A is a surface-mount wireless receiver for electric heating. It switches loads up to 16A, so you can control electric heaters from a wireless thermostat without running a thermostat cable.
Why installers use it
- 16A switching: handles larger electric heating loads.
- Wireless: no cable between thermostat and heater.
- Surface mount: quick to fit next to the heater supply.
Not for electric floor heating
Heatmiser state that the RF-Switch 16A has no floor limiting sensor function, so it is not designed for electric underfloor heating mats or cable. For floor heating, use a floor-sensing thermostat: the Heatmiser neoStat-e or Heatmiser Slimline-E. Both switch up to 16A and come with a floor sensor.

Can I use it with my electric underfloor heating mat?
No. It has no floor limiting sensor. Use the neoStat-e or Slimline-E instead.
