We supply underfloor heating to installers and homeowners in Edinburgh and the Lothians. For one Edinburgh installer, we sent the full design and quote within three hours of the enquiry and shipped the pipe-in-screed system the same day.
Tenements and New Town flats
Edinburgh's tenement and Georgian flats have timber floors, high ceilings and shared buildings. Low-profile overlay boards or joisted systems avoid adding a heavy screed. Much of the Old Town and New Town is a conservation area with many listed buildings, so check consent before changing original floors.
Villas and new builds
Sandstone villas in areas such as Morningside, Corstorphine and Portobello, and new homes across the Lothians, suit in-screed underfloor heating where floors are being renewed. Edinburgh's cold, windy winters make good floor insulation essential. See insulation under underfloor heating.
Supply only, or supply and install
- Supply only: Delivery cost and timing for your Edinburgh postcode are shown at checkout.
- Supply and install: we arrange installation through our approved installers, with MaxHeatUFH technical support on every job. As a guide, labour is £20/m² + VAT for clip rail and pipe clipped to insulation in screed, and £25/m² + VAT for other systems, including electric. Send an installation enquiry with your floor plans and we'll confirm the price.
- Installers and builders: apply for a trade account for trade pricing on every order.
