Uncoupling / Decoupling Membrane for Electric Underfloor Heating (1m Wide Roll)
Product details
An uncoupling (decoupling) membrane for tiled floors over electric underfloor heating. It separates the tiles from movement in the subfloor, such as timber, new screed or mixed substrates. That helps stop cracked tiles and grout, and it spreads the load over the heating cable.
Why installers use it
- Protects the tiles: takes up subfloor movement before it reaches the tiles and grout.
- Fleece backed: bed it into flexible tile adhesive, then tile on top with flexible adhesive.
- Mats or loose cable: suitable for electric heating mats and loose cable.
- Easy to handle: lightweight and cuts with a knife.

How much do I need?
Each metre of roll covers 1m². Measure the floor area to be tiled and choose the roll that covers it, allowing a little extra for cuts.
