PERT-AL-PERT Multilayer (MLC) UFH Pipe

PERT-AL-PERT is a multilayer underfloor heating pipe with an aluminium core between two layers of PE-RT. The aluminium stops oxygen getting into the system and holds a bend where you put it. This makes tight loops and neat returns easier than with plastic-only pipe.

Why installers use it

• Low memory: it stays where you lay it and doesn't spring off the clips.
• Oxygen-tight: the aluminium layer protects the manifold, pump and boiler or heat pump.
• Three sizes: 12mm for overlay and low-profile panels, 15mm and 16mm for screed and routed boards.

How much pipe do I need?

Roughly 6.7m of pipe per m² at 150mm centres, 5m per m² at 200mm centres, or 10m per m² at 100mm centres. Then add the runs to and from the manifold. Or send us your plans and we'll design the loops for you.

Which manifold connector do I need?
A 3/4" Eurocone connector core that matches the pipe size, two per loop.

Can I bend it by hand?
Yes. It holds a bend. Use a bending spring or pipe bender for tight bends.
