MLCP Press Fit Wall-Plated Female Elbow
Product details
An MLCP press fit wall-plated elbow is a 90 degree elbow with a female BSP outlet and a fixing plate. Screw it to a wall, noggin or back-box to give a solid threaded outlet for taps, showers, outside taps and appliance connections on multilayer pipe (MLCP or PEX-AL-PEX).
Why installers use it
- Solid outlet: the plate holds the thread firm, so the pipe doesn't move when a tap or shower is tightened on.
- Four sizes: 16mm or 20mm pipe with 1/2" or 3/4" female BSP.
- Specification: brass body, stainless steel press sleeve with an inspection window and insulating ring, and factory-fitted EPDM O-rings.
- Rated for heating and water: maximum working pressure 10 bar and maximum continuous temperature 80°C (95°C peak). Suitable for heating, underfloor heating and hot and cold water.

How to fit it
Cut the pipe square. Calibrate and bevel the bore with a Pipe Reaming Tool or Pipe Chamfering Tool. Push the pipe fully home until it shows in the inspection window, then press with the U-profile jaw that matches the pipe size. Seal the BSP thread with PTFE tape or a thread sealing cord.
