MaxHeatPanel Routed XPS Board, Tile Direct (1200 x 600mm)
Product details
MaxHeatPanel is a routed XPS insulation board for water underfloor heating on solid floors. Lay the boards, press the pipe into the grooves and tile directly onto the board. Each board is 1200 x 600mm, with a thickness to suit 12mm or 16mm pipe.
Why installers use it
- Tile direct: you can tile straight onto the board, so there is no screed to wait for.
- Grooves at 150mm centres: four routed grooves per board, ready for the pipe.
- Insulation built in: the XPS board insulates under the pipe as well as holding it.
- Two thicknesses: 18mm for 12mm pipe, or 25mm for 16mm pipe.

How much do I need?
Each board covers 0.72m². Divide the floor area by 0.72 and round up, with a few extra for cuts.

Questions
Which thickness do I need?
It depends on the pipe. Use the 18mm board for 12mm pipe and the 25mm board for 16mm pipe.
Do I need to screed over it?
No. MaxHeatPanel is made to tile directly onto.
