Male Straight Union 16mm x 1/2" Compression
Product details
A straight compression union that joins 16mm underfloor heating or multilayer pipe to a 1/2" female thread. It's a quick way to connect a 16mm pipe run to a valve, a fitting or a 1/2" port without pressing.
Why installers use it
- No press tool needed: it's a compression joint, so a pair of spanners does the job.
- 16mm to 1/2" male: a common transition from UFH pipe to threaded fittings.
- Sold singly: buy only what you need.
Fitting tips
Cut the pipe square and ream the end before fitting, so the joint seals properly. Use a pipe cutter and reaming tool.
