Edge Insulation Foam Roll 100mm x 5mm
Product details
Edge insulation is a polyethylene foam strip for wet underfloor heating, 100mm high and 5mm thick. Fix it around the perimeter of the room, and around any columns, before you screed. It takes up screed expansion and stops heat escaping into the walls.
Why installers use it
- Takes up expansion: gives the screed room to move as it heats and cools.
- Cuts heat loss: stops heat leaking sideways into the walls.
- Closed-cell PE foam: 100mm x 5mm strip.
- Two roll lengths: 25m for a room, 50m for bigger floors or several rooms.

How much do I need?
Measure the perimeter of each room, plus around any columns, and add the lengths together. After screeding, trim the excess flush with the floor finish.

When do I fit it?
