This Northern Ireland project needed more than a kit list. We produced a full underfloor heating loop design, then supplied the complete in-screed system for the next working day.
What the loop design included
- Design flow temperatures for the system
- Flow rates for every loop, in litres per minute
- Room outputs and design temperatures
- A full loop layout, ready to install from
The system
- Floor system: In-screed, with 1m grip rail to hold the pipe
- Pipe: WRAS-approved PERT-AL-PERT pipe
Why flow rates matter
Flow rates per loop are what an installer uses to balance the manifold. With them on the drawing, each loop can be set correctly at commissioning, so every room reaches temperature evenly.
