Electric underfloor heating is ideal where there's no wet system to connect to, or for a single area being renovated. This project used 150W/m² heating mats split into two zones.
The system
- System: 150W/m² electric heating mats
- Zones: 2 heating zones
- Controls: Heatmiser neo system with smartphone app control (electric UFH thermostats)
Why two zones
Splitting the area into two zones lets each space run on its own schedule and temperature, so only the area in use is heated. With both thermostats on the neo app, the homeowner can schedule and adjust both zones from their phone.
