MLCP Press Fit End Cap

An MLCP press fit end cap closes off the end of a multilayer pipe (MLCP or PEX-AL-PEX) permanently. Use it on a spare manifold circuit, a dead leg you're taking out, or a pipe left in place for a future connection.

Why installers use it

• Permanent seal: once pressed, it stays on. No threads to weep.
• Four sizes: 16, 20, 25 and 32mm.
• Specification: brass body, stainless steel press sleeve with an inspection window and insulating ring, and factory-fitted EPDM O-rings.
• Rated for heating and water: maximum working pressure 10 bar and maximum continuous temperature 80°C (95°C peak). Suitable for heating, underfloor heating and hot and cold water.

Pack sizes

Sold in full bags or boxes only, in the supplier's pack quantities. Choose a bag or a box, then how many packs you need. Packs are not split.

How to fit it

Cut the pipe square. Calibrate and bevel the bore with a Pipe Reaming Tool or Pipe Chamfering Tool. Push the pipe fully home until it shows in the inspection window, then press with the U-profile jaw that matches the pipe size.

Questions

Can I take it off later?
No. It's a permanent press joint. Cut the pipe behind the cap if you need to reconnect.

No. They're sold in full bags or boxes only.
