The Heatmiser Thimble Sensor is a small wired room temperature sensor. It's for rooms where the client doesn't want a thermostat on the wall, such as a feature wall, a bathroom or a show home. The thermostat sits somewhere less visible, and the thimble does the sensing.
Why installers use it
- Discreet: a small form factor that blends into the room.
- Long cable run: can be wired up to 20m from the room thermostat.
- Accurate control: measures the room itself, not the cupboard the thermostat is in.
