The Heatmiser Temperature Sensor Probe is a wired remote sensor for Heatmiser thermostats that accept one. It can measure air or floor temperature, and it's designed to be used as a floor sensor under underfloor heating.
Why installers use it
- Floor sensing: lets the thermostat control or limit floor temperature.
- Spare or add-on: replace a damaged probe or add floor sensing to a thermostat.
- Easy to replace later: fit it inside a conduit in the floor so it can be pulled out.
Fitting tip
Heatmiser recommend fitting the probe inside a conduit. Lay it between the heating cables or loops, not on top of them, so it reads the floor and not the cable.
