Copper M-Press Elbow i/a

The copper M-press elbow i/a is a 90° elbow with a press end on one side and a plain spigot on the other. The spigot pushes into another press fitting, so you can make a tight turn straight off a tee, coupling or valve without a short piece of tube. Sizes run from 15mm to 54mm.

Why installers use it

• Tight turns: fit it straight into another fitting to save space.
• No offcuts: no need to cut and press a short length of tube between fittings.
• M-profile press: a flame-free joint with an M-profile tool and jaw.
• Full packs: bags or boxes, not split. 54mm comes by the box only.

What does i/a mean?
It means one end is a press socket and the other is a spigot, which goes into another press fitting rather than onto tube.

Which press tool do I need?
Any tool that takes M-profile jaws in the size you are pressing. With MaxHeatUFH jaws, 15, 22 and 28mm fit both the Electric Hydraulic Press Tool (MH-EHCS) and the High Power tool (MH-HPEHCS). 35, 42 and 54mm need the High Power tool.
